2022 SFD Dance Team Kids Camp

Description

Open to all grade school K-8 dancers and non-dancers! The SFD Dance Team will teach dance campers warm-ups, stretching exercises, a dance routine by grade level, and the SFD Dance Team Fight Song dance! Each group will perform their routines for parents and family beginning at noon. Parents are encouraged to come and watch the performances (don’t forget to bring your camera!). Camp will be dismissed once the performances have concluded. All dance campers are invited to perform with the SFD Marching Band during pre-game at the DeSales home football game in Alumni Stadium on Oct. 14. Details will be discussed at the end of camp and will be emailed to parents. Please wear tennis shoes and comfortable clothing. Bring a water bottle (with child’s name on it) and lots of enthusiasm! A small snack will be provided. Please note any dietary restrictions when registering your child. Here is a timeline of the day: 8:45 a.m.: Check-in opens 9 a.m.: Dance Camp begins Approx. 10:30 a.m.: Snack time 12 p.m.: Performance for parents and family Camp ticket cost includes day of camp, t-shirt and admission to the DeSales home football game on Oct. 14. All money collected helps the SFD Dance Team with purchasing important uniform and performance items. Thank you for your support!
