Join us as we discuss the strides and struggles connected to wealth building in the Black community. Where have we seen advancement of Black wealth? What strategies are being deployed? How can we contribute collectively to more economic mobility? What cultural influences have helped or hindered progress? What is the phycological impact of generational poverty? We will be joined by a panel of financial industry leaders and economic empowerment consultants, moderated by behavioral health expert, Jewel Woods. This is our second ENC Live in-person event! Today, the Equity Now Coalition (ENC) is a convening and engagement of diverse Black leaders to collaborate and collectively advocate for changes necessary to improve the quality of life for Black people and the community-at-large. The ENC meetings have helped our community identify emerging voices of leadership and created space for them to exchange and interact with the existing leaders of Black Columbus around issues that are relevant and rooted in today’s community needs.
