Sowah Mensah, an ethnomusicologist, composer, and a “Master Drummer” from Ghana, West Africa, will perform solo and with Endicott students in this unique event. Mensah has taught music in both Ghana and Nigeria and is currently a music professor at both Macalester College, and the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota where he also directs each school’s African Music Ensemble. In addition, he is currently a James Marsh Professor-at-Large at the University of Vermont in Burlington, Vt. and directs the African Music Ensemble at the University of Minnesota.
The Walter J. Manninen Center for the Arts at Endicott College welcomes visitors with disabilities to performances. Accessible seating for mobility challenges is available. We offer the Listen System for the hearing impaired.

Endicott College Covid Policy Fall 2022
Masks are now optional on the Endicott campus regardless of vaccination status. These new guidelines extend to public events including athletic games, meetings, and lectures.
The policy goes into effect on September 1, 2022. We will continue to follow the guidance of health officials and will review this policy throughout the semester.
