Years ago, I did some country recording work for a country songwriter. It was an incredible experience. I got a chance to sing in the studio with a professional country band from Nashville. I did 7 original songs. Recently, I've been singing with a friend who plays guitar, but it's hard for him to get together. I have a song list: Lyin Eyes by the Eagles, Woman/Starting Over/Imagine by John Lennon, Tears in Heaven/Eric Clapton, On the Road Again/Willie Nelson, Only Want to Be With You/Hootie & The Blowfish, Can't Smile Without You/I Write The Songs by Barry Manilow, Keep Your Hand To Yourself by Georgia Satellites etc... Open to singing other tunes as well. I would love to form or join a band that wants to do the songs I sing best. This is all for fun! But I'm living on Social Security and it's not cutting it for me. I would love to sing/play for tips to make a little extra cash. I'm a retired Registered Nurse (so my time is flexible) and I'm only 2 train stops from Manhattan in the South Bronx. I rely on public transportation. Tell me about what you play and what goals you have as a musician.
