Calling all girls in fifth through eighth grade and their guardian(s)! Come out to meet other girls and mentors and join in on the fun! There will be a fun ice cream making science activity, snacks, giveaways, and an opportunity to learn more about the Girl Scouts and the Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS) of Chicago partnership. This program offers girls the opportunity to have a Big Sister! Mentors will work with the girl(s) in the Girl Scouts program at monthly meetings, earn badges, and attend free council-sponsored events. Girls will gain leadership experience, build their social skills through fulfilling friendships, and engage in multiple activities and programs with Big Brother and Big Sisters of Chicago twice a month. Membership in this program is free for girls. Big Brothers Big Sisters of Chicago will work with girls and their guardians directly to find and match girls and mentors. Girls MUST be accompanied by an adult and stay with their girl(s) during the event.
