On Thursday, October 6th, 2022, the Philadelphia Association of Black Journalists will host their 2022 Scholarship Fundraiser! This special event is geared towards solely raising money for PABJ's scholarships that support Black journalism students interested in pursuing the field. All proceeds from this event are going to our organization's scholarship fund! This social event is in loving memory of the late great Trudy Haynes, who was a broadcasting legend and longtime supporter of PABJ's scholarship committee and overall advocacy. Please come out and buy a ticket (or more) and support the future of Black media in the greater Philadelphia region. Come mix and mingle with some impressive Black media professionals and allies in the area. There will be plenty of drink tickets and delicious hors d'oeuvres catered by the incredible Le Peg (in FringeArts) across from Race Street Pier. Please spread the word and donate if you can! Even if you can't attend the event, feel free to donate whatever you can to help the scholarship fund reach its annual goal!
