Join local zoo keepers and animal lovers for a family-friendly night of bowling and fundraising to support conservation efforts for the remaining species of rhinos and their habitats. 100% of the proceeds from this event go to 3 conservation organizations (follow the links below for more information): 1) Lewa Wildlife Conservancy 2) International Rhino Foundation 3) Action for Cheetahs in Kenya Rhino poaching has increased drastically over the last decade, and there is the possibility that these gentle giants will go extinct in our lifetime. Statistics show that at least 2 rhinos are killed every day in South Africa. But rhinos are not the only species that are being affected by poaching, habitat loss, and other threats. Elephants, lions, tigers, orangutans, and many other species are hanging on by a thread. Even though we are far away from Africa and Asia, we can still make a difference. By raising funds and awareness for the protection of rhinos we are also helping every species of plants and animals that share their habitats. Pizza and soda will be provided.
