Rehoming Zoe, a sweet black and white hound mix

Description

We’re looking for a good family and home for our sweet girl, Zoe. She is a 1 year, 3 month old hound mix, 30-40 pounds that we got from a shelter as a pup. She’s in Ferndale, Washington and she’s spayed and microchipped. Zoe is a very sweet dog who loves to train, play tug of war, and fetch. She’s incredibly attentive during training and picks up new skills easily. With high energy, Zoe plays well with other dogs and is kind to people. Zoe likes to play with our cat, but it’s a one-sided relationship 🙂 She’s also good with children but needs some work on jumping up to greet people. We've done a couple dog training classes with Tails-a-Wagging and she did really well and was ahead of the pack. The main reason we have decided to rehome her is her anxiety and our inability to give her the attention she deserves due to having a newborn. She can take a few hours to feel safe around someone new, but is so happy to see people outside of her home/territory. She’s crate and potty trained, and she knows all the basic commands: sit, down, settle, stand, stay, leave it, and crate. She needs some work with following the commands in stimulating environments. Overall, Zoe is eager to please and will fit right in with a gentle, experienced trainer who can help her through her anxiety and give her plenty to do. We want to keep her out of the shelter and find the right home for her. A rehoming fee of $30 applies. Message me with any questions or if you'd like to meet her!
