Description

Four amazing artists from the disability community, each from varying disciplines come together to showcase their work and discuss how their individual disabilities inform their art. We will also try to break down how best to create art spaces and experiences that are inclusive for all from the wheelchair-bound to the visual and hearing impaired or other forms of sensory dysplasia. Our artist panel includes: Azeema Akram (dancer), Noa/h Fields (artist and poet), Grismah Shah (visual artist/filmaker), and Revecca Torres (visual artist/filmmaker) Press Room is an ongoing series through the Guild Literary Complex that explores topics often shunned by the media offering a view from both a personal and literary perspective.
