Vigor MVMNT is excited to announce our very first partner-based functional fitness competition right here in Columbia, MO. Designed around weightlifting, running, gymnastics movements, and other Functional Fitness-style workouts this is going to be an exciting event you won't want to miss. Themed around the University of Missouri's founding of homecoming as we all know it, our Vigor MVMNT "Homecoming" is a chance for people all over the state to come together to show off their skills, dominate the competition, and enjoy a little like-minded camaraderie. We're currently opening registration up for both male and female divisions with support for both RX and Scaled athletes. Below you'll find essential information to help you get better prepared to join us on October 14th and 15th, 2022. This 2 day comp will kick-off on Friday, October 14th with our Friday Night Lights throw down! We want to go bigger and better this year, and what better way than to workout under the lights with a pack gym full of people cheering you on!? Athlete check-in will open at 2:30pm on Friday October, 14th. Brief, opening remarks, event standards and national anthem will begin at 4:00pm and will go until 4:35pm Heat one will kick-off at 5pm! Important Event Details:We're offering cash prizes to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place RX teams in both the men's and women's divisions. Cash prizes are tentatively set at $700, $600, and $500.** We're offering cash prizes to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place Scaled teams in both the men's and women's divisions. Cash prizes are tentatively set at $400, $300, and $200.**There will be 1 event that will kick us off on Friday, October 14h. There will be 3 events spread throughout the day on Saturday, October 15th. TBD. Participants will be required to complete all events to a minimum standard for scoring to take place and a final score to be tallied.There will be parking, tent locations, and food trucks all on-site throughout the day to support athletes, families, and guests.Athletes and guest check-in will begin at 2:30 PM Friday, October 14th.
