Boxer Needing Loving Home

Sweet 8 or 9 year old neutered boxer is needing a new home. His owner passed away unexpectedly but he still has so much love to give to his next family. He is good with other dogs, but really just wants to be right next to his people. We recently took him to the vet and he is in great health, other than a slight thyroid issue, but the meds are not expensive. He is house broken, although he may piddle just a bit when you first come home (he is just SO excited to see his humans!), but if you let him right out IMMEDIATELY, it's easily mitigated, and hasn't been much of an issue. His shots are due at the end of September, and a follow up with his current vet, on how the thyroid meds are working for him, in a couple of weeks. We are happy to handle this, but I'm looking for a home where I know 110% that he will be loved AND cared for, so I WILL require vet references, as well as a home check (by delivering him to you). Please reach out if you think you could give Cooper his last forever home.
