Description
Due to financial hardships, we have made the near impossible decision to rehome this guy. His name is Gallant, he'll be one year old in October. He is a German shepherd mix, we do have his embark breed & health test results. Intact, as he's a large breed and we were waiting until 2 years to neuter (currently 72lbs).
This dog is one of the best puppies I've had the pleasure to raise. He is incredibly sweet and almost bombproof as far as socialization goes. He's great with all people, dogs, cats, small animals like chickens and rabbits, etc. You can take him into a store like tractor supply and he won't bat an eye at anyone whether or not they pet him, he'll just walk with you and lay by your feet at the checkout.
The con: this guy has one brain cell, but it works really hard at what it does! He doesn't care about learning tricks and will stare at you until you give him the treat, or he will just wander off if you take too long. He does know sit and leave it though! This is generally his personality, he is extremely chill and just doesn't have any cares to give. He isn't a guard dog at all, or a velcro/in your space 24:7 dog by any means. He would do best in a home with another dog for him to play with, or frequent dog playdates at the very least, as his biggest joy in life is playing with our older dog.
We are asking $500, will provide the results for the $200 breed testing.
