Get ready to get messy with Maxine Remias in this fun, exciting, hands on class. Come join us as we explore science through fun, hands-on activities. Get ready to build, get messy and investigate the world through STEM-based learning. Class is geared toward K-5th. No textbook required. Taught by Maxine Remias. It is a drop-off class meeting in the basement classroom of the LCH Building. Parent/ sibling hangout will be in the cafe. Instructor bio: I went to West Liberty University for secondary education Math and General Science, but my teaching experience is from Preschool age to adult students. I've taught in public, parochial and homeschool settings as well as special needs to advanced students. Currently, I volunteer in several settings in teaching roles. While teaching is my spiritual gift, I haven't decided what I want to be when I grow up. Since I'm a Gramma, I proclaim that I am no longer required to grow up. Curriculum is not inherently Christian but a Christian viewpoint may be expressed from time to time.
