Join us as we provide a fun environment for kids to learn about grammar Join us as we learn about grammar through games and activities. A hands on interactive class! When language learners can apply grammar and use it in a fun way, there’s a better chance that they’ll retain it all. They’ll be able to practice and internalize grammar phenomena extensively rather than just learning a bunch of rules superficially. They know that games are coming up, and they need to be prepared if they want to win! Think about this compared to boring old grammar lectures about the differences between the present simple and the present continuous. Sure, you’ll still need lessons, but the enthusiasm your students have for games and being classroom champions will carry them through Instructor: Lisa Burns Instructor bio: My name is Lisa Burns. I have two children. Nikolas is ten years old and Katie is five. We are members of Jersey Church. I have been homeschooling for the last five years. I love the opportunity to educate my children and watch them grow. I like to make learning fun. I look forward to teaching and learning with your children. Curriculum is not inherently Christian but a Christian viewpoint may be expressed from time to time. This is a 1 semester course (14 weeks) It is a drop-off eligible class * see parent handbook for specific restrictions. Parent/sibling hangout is located in the cafe. The cost of this class is for 2nd semester only dates included: February 16th, 23rd March 2nd, 9th, 16th, 30th April 6th, 13th, 20th, 27th May 4th, 11th, 18th, 25th
