To the desperate person who lifted the Black Samsung Galaxy Phone off the blue Game King Upright Standing Multi Game next to Fatburger at 11:15 am yesterday....
I want you to know that the phone you took belonged to a 68 year old retired military veteran who lives on a fixed income. While I understand that you may be desperate for money, taking things that do not belong to you will never get you ahead in life.
I am sure you do not feel very proud of yourself knowing you are depriving this gentlemen who served 28+ years in the military so that you can now live in a free country. However, you and only you can make this right.
As I am sure you know the phone has already been locked by the carrier making it USELESS to you except for spare parts. The identification numbers are logged so if you attempt to sell the phone it will be flagged as stolen and could potentially get you arrested.
Here is what I propose - Do the RIGHT THING at least once in your life. Take the phone back to Sunset Station and give it to ANY employee. Simply tell them you found it on a machine. They will thank you and turn it into security with NO questions ask of you. You can then text me at
.
Once we contact Sunset Station and verify that the phone has been recovered, I will text you back and you and I can figure out how I can give you a "reward" for returning the "missing" phone. I will offer you a reward of $200.00 for the return - again no questions ask. We will both just turn and walk away. This is NOT a trick to get you arrested. The personal information (photos, grandchild's photos and videos, etc.) are priceless to him and can not be replaced.
Please I am asking you with only kindness in my heart to return his phone to Sunset so they can get it back to him.
I thank you in advance for your act of kindness.
