Elevator Music

Description

Why, who says elevator music is boring?!!? If you like elevator music and consider it "real" music, then read on! The project I'd like to put together is something along the lines of a softer, jazzy, bossa, relaxing feel. Jazz standards would be a good place to start, especially any bossa tunes (Jobim, Hubbard, etc). But we can add more pop/rock tunes that have a jazzy feel (or morph them!) or smooth funk. I play electric bass but can sub in with nylon string guitar for rhythm/bossa tunes for variety. I can also do limited keyboards. I'm looking mostly just to jam with like-minded musicians. Mostly any instrument is fine ~ horns, woodwinds, keyboards, guitar, percussion, etc ~ and if you can switch hit that's even better. I'm in my late 50's but any age 9-109 is fine with me. I have a small practice space but looking for a bigger space as needed. Rock...err, Easy-listen, on!
