Qualified participants will receive compensation for their time and travel. There is no cost to participate, and health insurance is not required.
Distal subungual onychomycosis is the most common form of mycotic nails, which is a fungal infection that affects your toenails and fingernails. Symptoms include:
- Thick, fragile, and in severe cases, crumbly nails
- Nails that separate from the nail bed
- Brown, white, yellow, or black nail discoloration
