Mother's Helper / Household Helper

Description
Hiring for a “mother’s helper” / household helper $15-20/hour depending on experience (and interest in the listed duties!). Possibility to grow into a nannying role after maternity leave is up. Job duties: I mainly need someone to help us out around the house filling in the gaps for a few hours while I care for my newborn during my maternity leave starting early January (EDD 12/27). Things like… - cleaning - tidying - dishes - bottle washing - loading / unloading dishwasher - laundry - sweeping & swiffering kitchen floor (possibly mopping once a week) - other household tasks as they arise... - Would be a plus if you know how to cook / prep and are interested in doing healthy meal preps for us! We have a freezer to store this in. This could potentially increase the hours if you are interested in that. - If you have childcare / newborn experience, we can talk about adding that in too. That could increase the hours after my maternity leave is up if you are interested in that. We are planning to hire a nanny after maternity leave, so this role could grow into that. I’m hoping for someone who can work well and efficiently without constant supervision. I’ll be there and am able to leave lists of things like this, but it would be nice if you’re able to assess what gaps need to be filled. Hours: Most likely 2-4 hour blocks of time during the day (between 9-5), two-three-ish times a week for now while I’m on maternity leave. Please mention if you have a minimum hours requirement per visit (I think 2-4 is pretty standard minimum but do let me know!). We can be flexible. And might even appreciate more help! Directions: When you apply, please highlight any interests in tidying / organization / efficiency type stuff since this will be my main need. If you have housekeeping, cooking, or childcare experience, that’s a plus so please highlight that too. Please mention the ability to work without supervision (I’ll be home, but will be taking care of the baby and may not always be super accessible). Please feel free to include both professional and personal experience. If you have a set pay rate, please include that. Just hoping to find a responsible hard worker who wants to help out some new parents! Thanks!
