Small car dealer/shop looking for real mechanic to do small and large jobs. I’m a master mechanic and I’m tired of all these wanna be mobile YouTube mechanics wanting $80-100hr to do valve covers,tune ups and oil changes. I’ve contacted every ad on marketplace and Craigslist and it’s the same story. As someone who’s made a decent living as a mechanic I can tell you you’ll never make it doing small jobs. Those are jobs anybody can do. You want to make the real money you have to do the jobs others can’t or won’t do. Engine, transmission installs, timing chains and belts. Those are the jobs that pay you learn to do those proficiently then you can make good money in the trade. Only need to bring yourself and basic hand tools.I will not loan out my hand tools but I do have all special tools and equipment here including lifts that you can use as needed. Good opportunity for an experienced mechanic to make way more than working at a shop. Or for someone with less experience willing to learn and not expecting to make master tech money with no experience. Pay is $40hr flat rate all data time. If a Job calls for 6 hours I can do it in 4 someone less experienced may take them 10hrs that’s the way it goes, you get paid by your skill level. Don’t need to be able to diagnose anything I tell you the job needs done and provide you with the parts. Looking for part time maybe 20hrs a week at this moment. Could lead to full time for the right person.
