Hi there! My name is Gus and I am a passionate 28 year old guitar player from Boston. I just moved to Tampa Bay and I am very serious about jamming, creating music, and having fun with like minded people. I am equally strong at lead, rhythm, and slide guitar. I am obsessed with Duane Allman, Dickie Betts, Eric Clapton, Billy Gibbons, Freddie King, B.B. King, Magic Sam, Buddy Guy, Derek Trucks, Peter Green, and Jerry Garcia. I believe that all of these influences are deeply reflected in my playing. On top of wanting to play music, I want to make friends and hang out with those who share the same love as I do. I am a very relaxed and easy going person trying to find my way in a new environment. My instagram handle is guspercy71, and there are many videos showcasing my playing there! My previous band "Wilmot Redd" from Boston is also on Spotify and Apple Music. I played electric rhythm and lead on all of these tracks with a Gibson SG. My lead playing on the end of the track "My Own Way" is what I am most proud of, as well as my slide playing on the track "Anyone Else" starting at 3:09.
