These do not come apart, they stay attached to each other!! 43 inches tall, 31 inches wide. Like new, we only used one time for rearing some kittens. We put the trays on top of grates, but you can place the gates above the trays if you want. The top cage opens on top for easy access. This is a really heavy duty, fun piece... it could be used for rabbits, small dogs or puppies, or if you can fit a litter pan in, it'll work for a kitten (we had trouble getting a litter pan in the bottom, the top is on because you can open it from above. I just paid a lot for this on Amazon, so this is a great deal! 60 cash please.
