EZ-GO GOLF CAR MECHANIC NEEDED

I have a E-Z-Go golf cart by Textron 36 volt system. It was working just fine then out of the blue just quit. I need someone that's familiar with these golf carts and those where to look for the most likely cause for it to quit. The batteries are fully charged and it makes a click sound in when I put my foot on the gas pedal after I have switched it either into forward or reverse but that's the only time it makes that sound so it's getting power but it's not making it all the way to the motor.
