We have a large male tortoise who has been with our family for about 15 years. He is probably around 100 lbs. Good health, has been a great pet. Not bad at mowing the grass either. Kids love to feed him. He has also shown he could be a good mate for a female. ;) We will be renting for the next year, and then building. We would like to find him a foster home for up to a year, a place he could enjoy while we get our new property in order for him. Do not consider taking him unless you have space, a large yard; please provide a picture of your space. It should be relatively tortoise-proof, as he can be a bit of a bulldozer. Be warned he may dig a burrow. If you'd agree to host him, there would be no re-homing fee. If you'd like to keep him permanently, please offer a decent re-homing fee. This will help me sell the deal to my daughters, because right now I'm pretty unpopular for seeking to relocate him! If the ad is up, he is available; no replies to "is it available"
