We are looking to rehome our 6 year old hound mix, Luna. Luna is a total teddy bear with people and instantly loves strangers. She loves to spend time with her people whether she is being pet, cuddled, played with, or just laying in the corner. The reason we are looking to rehome her is that she has become aggressive with our other dog as she gets older despite having lived with her since she was a puppy. Because of these issues, we think it is best that Luna lives in a home without cats or other dogs. She has never had any issues with humans and loves every person she meets. In addition to spending time with people, Luna love spending time outside. She would prefer to have her own yard, but has experience with apartment living. She loves her daily walks and enjoys having a window that allows her to see outside. Luna has basic training (potty trained, sit, lay down, etc.) and is very food motivated. She is spayed and up to date on vaccinations. We are happy to take her to the vet for a check up prior to rehoming. We would very much like to keep Luna, but it is unfair to both her and our other dog. We are asking a rehoming fee of $100 to ensure she goes to a good home. That will include food, treats, bedding, toys, and other miscellaneous accessories. We think Luna would be a great fit for college students, young professionals, or families with older children (she has never been exposed to young children).
