Description
Benjamin is just a brown bunny. He was found in my neighbors yard April 4th 2021. He was just a baby. I took him in.
He is neutered but not vaccinated against RHDV. Rabbit hemorrhaging disease which is fatal. I believe its caused by mosquitoes. So he has always been an indoor rabbit. He really doesn't like being outside and he definitely does not like the heat. The only time he goes outside is to brush him on a table. He is shedding right now
Benji has an indoor hutch with and xpen around it but he comes and goes. I have steps going to the couch so he will come up and get his banana treats and sit for awhile. does not mind being brushed or petted. Picking him up is best with a blanket so he feels secure.
He eats rabbit pellets hay and a mixed salad in the morning or night.
He is okay with dogs as long as they dont chase. also he hangs out with my foster kittens
He will come with his hutch (4' long 3'8" tall and 19" deep. He really likes his hutch. He uses the top and bottom. Also an xpen that goes around the hutch. It has a gate so you can keep him in it or open and let him out.
Bunnies do make a mess with the hay. One of the reason for giving him up. With back issues getting harder to do the bending to clean,
Please contact only if really interested and are nearby. Benji the hutch xpen are $50.00 Thank you
