I play lead and rhythm guitar on most all classic, country, blues and southern rock music. I can sing lead on many songs and back up harmonies on others. I only play American and British tube amps, and American made guitars because tone and reliability are of upmost importance. My guitars are American Standard Strats and Teles and a Les Paul. I only say that because I believe gear is important. I won't play in a band where others are using solid state fuzzy amps. I'm not great, but I've been in and out of bands since the mid 70's. Hoping to connect with a working or soon to be working cover band. I can play most anything from Lynard Skynard, Allman Brothers Band, Marshall Tucker Band, CCR, Bad Company, Doobie Bros., Dwight Yoakam, Cody Jinks, Haggard, Stapleton, etc. I'm retired, have plenty of time for practice and gigs and have reliable transportation.
