Welcome! This will be a fun interactive event to raise funds for evacuees and orphans leaving Ukraine during the war. To date, World Children Resources (WCR) has evacuated almost 600 people, helped deliver over 300,000 pounds of food and supplies, assisted locals forced into militia with body armor and also helped feed many animals suffering because of the war. We are a volunteer and non-profit organization. Our goal for this event, is to establish funds for our safe homes in Poland and Germany (rent, food, clothing, electricity, water, toys, educational materials, medicine, etc.), and to assist "aged out" children to come to the US to be re-united in safe homes with their host families. The event will include a show by the Gainesville Improv Guild, a silent auction, a raffle and snacks and beverages. Tickets are $15 at the door and $10 in advance.
