Join us for a curated series of fest. fresh pop-ups, performances, street food and activities! Every first Friday of the month this summer from July-Sept. from 6pm-9pm with programming that coincides with our current season art exhibition "Fortaleza Y Flow: Growing Up Salsa" we will host an event and activate our "discoteca" installation room (an homage to Latin music discotecas of the 90's) with a live DJ and refreshments. *BYOB Sip and shop for your festival fresh gear with some of the dopest local makers, vintage sellers and adornment creators. 6:00pm-8pm: "La Discoteca" an ode to 90's Salsa discoteca will be open and activated with DJ Honey Lucio spinning classic Salsa music, Latin hits & House! PLUS, a pop up of local makers selling festival fresh wares to enjoy and shop! $10-$20 Festival Bag Swag: Come with your fanny pack or small festival size bag or buy one from us and remix it with our table of embellishments including paint, stencils, studs etc. $6 Button Making station with Susan Gomez of Wasteshed Upcoming highlight for this Friday Aug. 5th!!: 6:30pm-8pm: FREE Salsa Dance Class with Blanca Aviles (no experience or partner necessary) Join us for this fun and interactive beginner class with a Chicago dance artist with almost 20 years experience!
