Celebrate the centennial of the re-discovery of King Tut’s Tomb! Join us at the OI as we explore the Tut artifacts in our galleries, including his colossal statue. Try your hand at translating hieroglyphs, including the Tut cartouche, and write your own name like the famous pharaoh. Explore gaming in Tut’s time with a round of senet, an ancient board-game Tut had buried with him in his tomb. After the program meet OI Egyptologist, Emily Teeter, and watch a documentary about the boy king. (registration required)
