My Learning Studio & Explore Riverside Together presents the 7th annual Orangecrest National Night Out, which is organized in conjunction with the Riverside Police Department, to inform the public about various police and community programs and designed to heighten crime and drug prevention awareness. Also, generates support for and participation in local anti-crime programs strengthens neighborhood spirit and police partnerships. It also sends a message to criminals that Riverside neighborhoods are organized and fighting back. Let's get out and have some fun! National Night Out usually occurs on the first Tuesday in August, however this year's festivities will be on Tuesday, October 4th, specifically geared toward the Orangecrest area and surrounding neighborhoods will be held at Orange Terrace Community Center. There will be arts, crafts, snacks, cookies and LuLu's Snoballs for everyone. There isn't anything for sale, just information books from local businesses. If you are a local business and interested in partcipating, you can include your flyers or items in our family goodie bags for as little as $50.
