What: OPEN TABLE READ Who: Anyone, regardless of level, with an idea, a beginning of a screenplay, or a finished screenplay. You may also show up to just read and provide feedback. Where: Meet at the Dallas Makerspace, 1825 Monetary Ln #104, Carrollton, TX 75006 Email [email protected] if you need assistance locating the venue.When: September 10th 2022, 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. PLEASE NOTE: Generally-speaking, only 10 pages will be read during this event, however, at the hosts' discretion, the read may go a page or two past 10 pages. Actors: Regardless of experience, you are also welcome to participate in the Open Table reads. This is also a marvelous way for you to network with a rising generation of filmmakers. What’s an Open Table Read? A chance for screenwriters of all levels to gather with other passionate screenwriters, do a table read of a selection of screenplays, and receive notes on their own work. A table read is a great way to bring your story to life by hearing it read loud. It is our wish that you use this opportunity to advance your journey with your screenplay. After all, everybody has a story to tell and we are here to listen at The Dallas Filmmakers Alliance.
