Spiritual Life Center proudly presents 2022 Light the World Gala "Celebrating of Our Community and Our Connections" Friday, September 30, 2022 Appetizer Social Hour 6 - 7 p.m. / Light the World Gala 7 - 9 p.m.Those of you who attended our 2021 Light the World Gala celebration know that this is the event of the season and one not to miss. (See photo gallery video of last year's Light the World Gala.) There is tiered pricing for tickets so you can pay what you can to attend this year's Gala. There are also volunteer opportunities for further discounted tickets. For volunteer information, contact Pat Harvey at [email protected] or call (916) 448-6508.Each paid ticket includes social hour appetizers, 1 drink coupon, dessert at intermission, and sanctuary seating for the live Gala program. Seating in the sanctuary is first come, first serve the evening of the event. There are some reserved seats for 2022 Light the World Honorees and Event Sponsors. The rest of the seating is general admission.If you were not able to attend the Light the World Honors Awards Ceremony at the California Museum on Saturday, August 13th, there will be a recap of that wonderful celebration and our 2022 inductees will be our honored guests at our Light the World Gala Celebration.2022 Light the World Honorees included:Special Tribute to Faith Moran, SLC Co-Founder and Champion for Youth & Family, Interfaith, and Women's MinistriesIndividual Lifetime Achievement Light the World Honors Inductees:1) Jan Adrian, Founder of Healing Journeys2) Carol Van Bruggen, Co-Founder of Africa Hope Fund3) Ann Roach, Music Ministry Vocalist & Certified Music Practitioner Light the World Honors 2022 Program Inductee: SLC's Lavender Lights accepted by Kerry FreemanEnjoy the catered appetizers during the pre-program social hour by Tom & Judy Chrisman and Bill Skipworth. There will be limited vegan and gluten free food options. There will also be a variety of desserts available during the short program intermission.The Gala is a time of celebration and time to remember who we have come here to be.
