Solar Repair and Installation Equipment Operator We are a full-service solar repair and restoration company founded on a fundamental principle that careful planning and highly skilled professionals can quickly and efficiently overcome any issue that may exist on commercial, industrial, and utility scale solar installations. To further our mission, we are excited to add a Solar Repair and Installation Equipment Operator to our team of motivated and experienced solar professionals. All candidates for this role must have previous experience operating heavy machinery such as tractors, boom lifts, skid steers, and excavators on construction project sites. Equipment Operator applicants must possess a thorough understanding of the safe and efficient operation and maintenance of all types of equipment to support the installation of solar racking, modules, and inverters on complex ground mounted and rooftop solar projects. Our Equipment Operators Are Expected To: • Put job site safety above all other goals or objectives • Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service at all times • Clearly communicate and collaborate with fellow crew members • Regularly utilize computer software to email, read construction drawings, and track project progress Job Tasks: • Clearly identify and communicate potential jobsite hazards to team during daily safety briefings • Lead project team in equipment selection based on project needs • Inspect and maintain equipment on a daily basis • Work with crew lead to manage jobsite logistics for equipment delivery, material management, and on-site storage • Operate/maneuver heavy equipment on construction site to perform tasks such as excavating, material loading and unloading, and lifting personnel to elevated work surfaces • Assist with installation of solar modules, racking, and other components as needed Minimum Qualifications: • 5 years of construction industry experience with previous equipment operating experience • A thorough understanding of equipment maintenance and operation best practices • Must possess valid driver's license, clean driving record, and have reliable transportation • Ability to lift 75lbs, work at heights, climb ladders, work in hot and cold environments • OSHA 10 certification (OSHA 30 preferred) • Forklift, aerial lift, rigging and signaling certifications Compensation: • Hourly Pay $30-40/hr with potential for overtime • Optional Paid Travel • Opportunity for Project completion bonuses • Paid training and professional development opportunities
