Please join us for a 5K walk from Riverfront West to Point State Park. Join us after the walk on the patio for food and refreshments. The Promise is a mission of equitable educational opportunities for all our Pittsburgh Public School students by removing financial barriers to attend postsecondary schools. Over 8,700 Promise Scholars have received scholarships so far, but the Pittsburgh Promise is more than just a scholarship program. The Promise can be seen in the big dreams of K-12 students, the hard work of Promise Scholars pursuing post-secondary degrees, and through Promise Alumni who give back to the region by enriching the workforce and bolstering our communities.
