Prenatal Yoga
Instructional techniques on breathing, meditation, relaxation and physical postures/movement to help you manage the discomforts of pregnancy as well as prepare you for the challenges of childbirth (and beyond). The classes are guided by a yoga teacher who is also a registered nurse with a history of working with mothers and babies for nearly 2 decades. Labor support person is welcome to attend, but not required (and does not need a ticket/reservation). Classes are 1 hour in duration.
What to bring: a mat (if you don’t have a mat one will be provided for you), water, pillows, blanket(s) for positioning, and any yoga prop that you like to use you are welcome to bring.
What to wear: comfortable clothes that allow movement.
When to arrive for your first class: please plan to arrive 15 minutes early to complete required paperwork.
When: Wednesdays @ 5:30pm-6:30 pm
No previous yoga experience is necessary to attend these classes. They are beginner friendly.

When you register for the August 3rd class - you are registering for all 5 Wednesday yoga classes in August.
When you register for the September 7th class - you are registering for all 4 Wednesday yoga classes in September.
When you register for the October 5th class - you are registering for all 4 Wednesday yoga classes in October.
Please consult with your healthcare provider before starting any exercise program during pregnancy including yoga.
