Es una de las primeras mujeres teólogas en América Latina y tiene una amplia experiencia en el ministerio en todos los niveles dentro de la estructura de la iglesia. La Dra. Dora Tobar obtuvo su maestría en la Pontificia Universidad Javeriana de Bogotá en 1984 y su doctorado en la Pontificia Universidad Gregoriana de Roma en 1997. Habla con fluidez cuatro idiomas: español, inglés, italiano y francés. A la Dra. Dora le encanta hacer ministerio y le apasiona mucho servir al pueblo de Dios. Desde 2014, la Dra. Dora Tobar se ha desempeñado como Directora de la Oficina Pastoral para la Vida Familiar y el Ministerio Hispano en la Diócesis de Lafayette, Indiana. She is one of the first woman theologians in Latin America and has extensive experience doing ministry at all levels within the church's structure. Dr. Dora Tobar earned her master’s degree at the Pontifical Javeriana University, Bogotá, in 1984 and her doctorate at the Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome in 1997. She is fluent in four languages: Spanish, English, Italian and French. Dr. Dora loves doing ministry and is very passionate about serving the people of God. Since 2014, Dr. Dora Tobar has served as the Director of the Pastoral Office for Family Life and Hispanic Ministry in the Diocese of Lafayette, Indiana. Fue ordenado Sacerdote el 1 de junio de 1996 en San Antonio, Texas. Estudió en la Pontificia Universidad de Santo Tomás de Aquino en Roma. Fue nombrado obispo titula de Tagase y auxiliar en la Arquidiócesis de Detroit el 18 de abril de 2011 por el papa Benedicto XVI. Fue consagrado en Detroit el 5 de mayo de 2011, convirtiéndose de esta forma en el obispo más joven de los Estados Unidos a la edad de 41 años. Bishop José Arturo Cepeda Escobedo was born in San Luis Potosí, México in 1969. He was ordained a Priest on June 1, 1996 in San Antonio, Texas. He studied at the Pontifical University of Saint Thomas Aquinas in Rome. He was named Titular Bishop of Tagase and Auxiliary in the Archdiocese of Detroit on April 18, 2011 by Pope Benedict XVI. He was consecrated in Detroit on May 5, 2011, thus becoming the youngest bishop in the United States at the age of 41.
