As you probably already know, one of, if not the hardest part of being a new CDL driver is backing into spaces especially between trailers. This is a crucial part of the job and a skill that you will need on most days behind the wheel. I will set up cones and let you back it in with or without my instruction at your discretion. I will be in the passenger seat as you practice. I have a 2020 Automatic Freightliner. I am a great teacher and I believe I can teach you better than anyone else. Backing is so important because there will be times when you need to shut down for the night, and maybe your clock is running out and your only option is to back into a parking space in between trucks. You may be at a truck stop and those places are very intimidating because there's usually trucks watching you and trucks waiting on you to complete your backing. I will teach you fundamentals and the tools that you need to successfully back into any situation whether it be a dock, an alley or most commonly, in between two trailers.
