Meet Kenai Kenai is an Aussidor (half Australian shepherd, half chocolate lab). He is 24 weeks old, was born on march 9th 2022. He was recently measured at 15-20 pounds. The vet says that he will be anywhere between 40 and 70 pounds when fully grown. Both his vet and I agree that he is a very very intelligent and incredibly sweet, playful, cuddly and has all the characteristics to be an amazing companion dog. However, do to his past he can be unpredictable and does not do well around other pets in the home. He needs a lot of room to run around and play as he is a very energetic dog. He also seems to hold some distrust toward females due to abuse at his previous home so a male caretaker would be a necessity for his care. Kenai is mostly house trained but needs to go outside every few hours to avoid accidents in the house. Kenai is a great dog and we hope to find him his forever home.
