PCGVR PRESENTS "THE CREDIBLE MESSENGER " FILM FESTIVAL

Description

We will screen three different short documentaries produced by participants in our Credible Messengers Reporting Project during each day of the event. These are people and leaders in our community who have experienced gun violence in the city of Philadelphia. We will see different perspectives on the lived experiences of surviving victims and co-victims. Each film will be followed by a short panel discussion moderated by Maxayn Gooden Credible Messenger Community Manager for the The Philadelphia Center for Gun Violence Reporting. The event will be hosted by Oronde McClain Credible Messenger Newsroom liaison for The Philadelphia Center for Gun Violence Reporting. The film festival is free to attend and you can register for one day or both but seating is limited so please register now. Free catered dinner will be served at 2:30 to 3:15pm on Sunday and Tuesday 5:30 to 6:15pm before premieres start so, please arrive on time. Seats are limited!
