Event Overview/Purpose:The Women's Ministry Leadership Prayer Weekend is designed to help the women in the congregation to do the following:Experience God in a whole new way with the intent of hearing directly from himRealize the transforming power of prayer in every aspect of their livesSee the value of corporate prayer experiences in the lives of a believerProvide a time of uninterrupted and personal communion with the LordDeepen their intimacy with the Lord so they can clearly recognize his voiceMake prayer a priority everywhereTheme: "Be Still to Listen"Friday: 6:30 p.m. - 8 p.m. Saturday:9 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. 3 Prayer Walk Locations (on Saturday):The Day of Prayer will have 3 Prayer Walk Locations with 12 Prayer Stations at each location. Each prayer experience allows them to hear directly from the Lord on the 36 different targeted areas of prayer. The 3 locations are listed below and you will need to select which Prayer Location you want to participate in and if you want to be a Prayer Mentor or a Prayer Partner. The church building (Prayer Focus: Specific Areas/Ministries of the church & for Blankenburg Elementary School)The church parking lot (Prayer Focus: Needs of the Congregation)Clara Muhammad Park (Prayer Focus: Needs of the CommunitySunday: Special Sermon based on our theme for the weekend.
