Angry Republicans call it "buying votes," when Democrats pass legislation that is popular with the majority of voters. Republicans push for legislation that benefits the top hundredth of one percent of the wealthy. It is only popular with the ultra greedy, and MAGA schmucks who are too stupid to vote in their own self interest.
