Catering Server( East Bay / San Francisco / San Jose) EVNTWRKS is seeking servers to work weekend catered events. We are in need of servers for an event on Sept 3rd from 12:00 pm to 10:00 pm at Ainsley House In San Jose with other work opportunities available throughout the year. Most of our events take place in the East Bay (Livermore, Orinda, Walnut Creek, and Oakland). Banquet Server Job Responsibilities: Unload equipment from trucks. Maintain a professional appearance and mannerisms. Assist with dining by clothing tables and setting decorations, tables, chairs, linen, condiments, candles, napkins, service plates, and utensils. Polish flatware and glassware to remove all visible water spots and ensure cleanliness. Maintains table setting by removing courses as completed, replenishing utensils, refilling water glasses, and being alert to patron spills or other special needs. Provide excellent food and beverage service for banquet events. Maintain knowledge of policies and procedures. Maintain a sense of urgency when on the service floor. Maintain front-of-house and side work duties for the overall productivity of banquet events. Seek council from management when needed. Complete other assigned duties when necessary. Follow Health and Safety practices at all times. Protects establishment and patrons by adhering to sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies. Responds to additional patron requirements by inquiring about needs and observing the dining process. Qualifications: Well-groomed appearance and good hygiene Strong Communication Skills Pleasant, professional, outgoing personality Self-motivated with high energy Able to take direction Customer Service Reliable Transportation Lift and carry up to 40 lbs Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements: High school diploma or GED Hospitality-related kitchen experience preferred Job Type: Part-time Salary: $25.00 per hour Benefits: Flexible schedule Schedule: 8-hour shift Evening shift Weekend availability
