Newsom wants gasoline powered cars to disappear and have nothing but electric vehicles roaming California. That's great, but for the last 30 years at least, California has had eletricity SHORTAGES. Brown-outs. Black-outs. California government asking citizens to cut back on their usage, don't turn on your A/C during certain hours, etc. FACT: When on the 'fast-charge mode', electric vehicles can draw up to FOUR TIMES the electricity as a home A/C unit. THINK: If they're already asking us to not use our A/C during certain hours, what kind of chance do you think we have with charging EV's?? California is the 'tail that wags the dog'. Newsom is always pushing for things that will eventually find their way to the rest of the country. Unfortunately, he lacks the ability to PLAN AHEAD and BE PREPARED, when it comes to EV's. Short-sighted assholes like Newsom are a big part of what's ruining this country. EV's are not the be-all end-all for personal transportation. People like to complain about oil pipelines ruining the environment. --- Have you seen a lithium mine lately? Most of the time, Liberal "solutions" are much worse than the original "problem". Speaking of imaginary 'problems', I have to tell you we do NOT have too much CO2 in the air. We are actually running very low. TRUTH: 600 Million years of SCIENCE tells us that we are currently at an historic LOW on CO2 in the atmosphere. Can you believe it? For almost 50 years, your liberal "green" politicians have been LYING to you about the 'dangers' of CO2. While corporations buy, sell and trade 'carbon credits', it's all based on complete BULLSHIT. The "Green" Liberal Socialist BIG LIE continues. It's not about the environment or the Earth's temperature. It's about control.
