What bothers me about this post is that it calls for people to vote blue and only for the single reason that the supreme court decided to put the abortion issue back on the states and their voters. You blame the GOP but there are many pro-life Democrats just as there are many pro-abortion rights Republicans. Are you the same self respecting women that voted in our mentally incapacitated president, who appointed 57 people to cabinet positions and other government positions that have a combined 2.5 years of business experience between them? Are you the self respecting women that helped vote in the US congress that has given us enormously high inflation and a recession that will not go away anytime soon? Are you the self respecting women that continue to vote blue in RI where the state has had one party rule for nearly 8 decades and has given us the 4th highest business taxes in the country, the 5th highest personal taxes, authoritarian mask and vaccine mandates, increasing violent crime rates? The state where the teachers are the highest paid in the country (considering cost of living), where the teachers top salaries are twice the national average, where our children have continuously tested below the national averages for math and language for over 30 years, and where our children are being taught what to think and not how to think and where the teachers unions and legislators have denied the citizens a school voucher program that would ensure true school choice. Are you the self respecting women that have helped put in a US congress and RI legislature that is now full of progressive socialists (who would have been in the socialist party or communist workers party just 15 years ago) who want to continue to increase our government, increase our taxes, dictate what we can say, what we can eat and what we can do? I personally don't care about your stand on abortion. You have a right to vote for your preferences in this state which allows abortion and isn't likely to see a change to that. If that is your only rational for voting for a party that will offer no guarantees and in fact have been working for years to remove all types of freedoms, you can't be very self respecting.
