Looking for a dog for our family!

Our family has two young daughters and an 11 year old chihuahua who lost his best furry friend a few years ago. Harvey, our dog, is in need of companionship and our oldest daughter is now in a place where she is helping to take care of the pets so the timing is right for a new addition to our family! We are loving and caring with our animals and believe in positive reinforcement training. I used to foster dogs for the SPCA & am very good with animals that need to build trust and have a calm, loving environment. Our ideal companion is a small, neutered male. We are open to all ages and are open-minded about most breeds but do not want to bring another chihuahua into the mix.
