Drummer Seeking Musicians

I’m an ex-professional drummer and composer/producer with pro gear, relocating to the Raleigh-Durham, NC area in October. I have 25+ years playing experience, including several recorded albums, hundreds of gigs, and some touring. For the past three years, I’ve been traveling with my family in an RV as a full-time dad, recording & producing music in the cracks and occasionally drumming on rocks. I am seeking experienced musicians for an ORIGINAL band in the danceable JAZZ-FUNK genre, ideally some mix of Lettuce, Galactic, The Motet, Vulfpeck, and Tom Misch. I write my own material, and love creating with others as well. (NOTE: I have zero interest in playing in a cover band. I’ve done that a few times over the years and it’s NOT my jam. Pun intended.)
