Are you looking for a part-time or full time position installing and repairing security systems? All American Fire Systems Inc. is currently seeking a great, experienced Security Systems Technician to assist with all sorts of projects. Responsibilities include: - Installing and assisting with installing Commercial and Residential Security Systems. We generally stick to DSC and Napco systems. -Installation and upgrading of monitoring communicators (3G switch out, take overs, switch to cellular from phone lines). We typically install Napco Starlink but we do have Connect 24 customers and Alarm.com customers as well. - Changing batteries on systems and in wireless devices (sensors, detectors etc). - Installation of hardwired and wireless door/window contacts, glass break sensors, smoked detectors and other devices. - Assess and diagnose system issues for clients as needed. - Installing and assisting with installing Security camera systems for Commercial and Residential customers. - Installing Ring, Nest, Arlo etc. - Home Automation System experience is also a big plus. Many customers ask for smart device installation through Z-Wave. Mainly lighting or thermostat controls. - Experience with Fire Systems is a HUGE plus. Looking for someone with - Minimum 3 years installing and working on both Security Alarms and Camera Systems. - Must have a valid driver's license. - Must be very professional. You will be working in Client Homes and Commercial sites. Strong customer service skills a big must. PART-TIME: Would be open to a part-time technician 2-3 days per week (can discuss which days) for 8 hour shifts. Open to a FT candidate starting with us PT and expanding hours in the future. FULL TIME: Ultimately we would love to find a dedicated full-time Security Tech to join the team 40 hours a week. If you have special skills or training please let us know.
