Description
Detailed Work Activities Assist with material handling or moving activities. Understand regulations, policies, or procedures. Inspect the work area to ensure compliance with safety, quality, or service standards. Assist with setting-up print files. Notify others and manager of emergencies, problems, or hazards. Verify information or specifications. Help maintain the inventory system, and track & purchase assets as they circulate. Onsite / Offsite Installations. Analyze data to inform operational decisions or activities. Submit expenditure requests to Accounting prior to purchasing. Evaluate quality of materials or products. Maintain knowledge of current developments in the area of expertise. Monitor organizational procedures to ensure proper functioning. Recommend organizational process or policy changes. Assist with prints and installs for the Company while maintaining a great attitude and team-oriented work flow. Maintain respectful, communicative and safe work flow running crews onsite in a professional, timely manner to ensure fabrications are installed properly. Rip / Print files on HPLATEX 360 / Use Graphtec Plotter ( for diecut VInyl ). At times, weekend and overtime labor will be asked depending on the schedule of events. Monitor current trends. Use Laminator to Laminate printed graphics. Identify and communicate potential design problems to the rest of the team. Tasks Maintain a safe working environment by monitoring safety procedures and equipment. Print on the HP Latex 360 printer. Train to RIP print files on the ONYX print program. Laminate and trim prints. Weed die-cut graphics and put on transfer tape. Prep graphics for installations. Upkeep print shop Assist in Installations on substrates and vehicles Gain knowledge of all printable materials and substrates Order print shop materials / inks / substrates from vendors Review work throughout the work process and at completion to ensure that it has been performed properly. Collaborate with workers and managers to solve work-related problems. Check specifications of materials against information contained in work orders. Inspect equipment for wear and for conformance to specifications. Refer personnel problems, complaints, or formal grievances when possible to higher-level supervisors for resolution. Maintain current knowledge of the quality control field, relying on current literature pertaining to materials use, technological advances, or statistical studies. Ability to expertly apply vehicle wrap/color vinyl (for full mural/wall installations and full-vehicle wrapping Fabricate samples. Procuring new vendors as needed. Job costing. Perform other duties assigned by your supervisor Education/Experience: 2+ Years of related industry experience preferred 2+ Years of event production experience preferred HS Diploma/GED preferred Possess a valid driver’s license Environment/Physical Demands: Frequently standing/sitting/walking up to 8 hours per day Frequently using hands/arms up to 8 hours per day Regularly lifting between 5 – 50 lbs. Regularly team lifting between 50 – 100 lbs. Frequently climbing/crouching/crawling up to 8 hours per day Regular exposure to fumes Moderate noise level Frequently viewing a computer monitor screen Frequently exposed to heat, sun, and the elements
