Description

There’s no singular method for producing “sour” beer and there is a wide range of acidity to be found among styles. Some can be produced in weeks. Others take years. In this class we will explore classic styles such as Gose, Berliner Weisse, and Lambic as well as the new trends in American sour brewing. We'll explore the history behind these styles, the characteristics of each style that make it unique, and have an open discussion while we tastes examples of each. Tickets are $25 and includes educational presentation and beer tasting. Participants must be 21+ years of age. This class is led by Kelly Pickard, Certified Cicerone.
