Join Mayor Bowser on the first day of school as we celebrate the kickoff of the 2022-2023 school year and lead a Slow Down Campaign at the 11th and F Street NE Intersection near Goding Elementary School. Together we will emphasize the need for all drivers to slow down and be extra cautious while traveling in school zones. DDOT will provide residents with yard signs that say Slow Down, Speed Limit is 15 MPH, to align with school zone limits at the event.
